Pathogen

Poem

Now that I’m guessin’, I take my shots in the dark.

So, time is precious, and I need it to save the world.

I’ve learned my lessons, and found new antigens to embark.

Now that’s impressive, the deadly pathogen that’s now unfurled.

To turn the humans into monsters, then set the monsters free.

The ruins are read by doctors, so just let the doctors be.

Now I have been taken that life turned out this way.

I’m afraid you’re mistaken, if you think it is novice,

it’d have you so shaken, to host the pathogen at play,

but never forsaken hope behind a promise.

The iron in your blood is a magnet for hearts.

The knives in your mouth were just points to the darts.

The beat behind your chest only forced mine to stop.

The pathogens about killed me, which was the cherry on top.

I’m so tired of hearing the word ‘toxic’, shut the hell up!

You’re in love with that toxic boy.

He can’t be too broken if you still play with that broken toy.

You said your puzzle is complete, so why are pieces still missing?

They tell you they’ve changed when you still hear that snake hissing.
