A Wild woman deep in the dirt,

Is where she heals all the hurt.

Pouring love Into the ground,

The heartbeats solemn sound.

Helping plants to once again grow,

For the ones who used to care and know.

When a wild woman again is healed,

Much more to her is then revealed.

Revelations here in are the making,

After life’s greedy little undertaking.

Forward stepping into the woods,

Where all is forgiven and understood.

As She grows older with the ages,

She gains the wisdom of the sages.

Life’s lessons hit like waves of the sea,

The moons glow washes over her, you, and me.

Time stands still when she remembers her power,

She soars with eagle higher than the highest tower.

Beautiful woman winner.

I had to laugh out loud

When I found a fluffy cloud

Hanging by my back door

In fact, I had to roar

I thought it was really nifty

To have this white puffy gifty

We decided to take a walk

And have a nice little talk

I was curious about my cloud

And asked right out loud

How she chose my place to hang

“Because you are a cloud’s greatest fan,

We’ve seen many times when you’ve ran

Like a crazy person into the yard-

Even when we were raining very hard,

To take a picture as we strolled across the sky

We know you love us more than pie

Joann, for crying out loud

You deserve your own cloud!!”

Passion flower so beautiful and sweet,

Slow to bloom like some people we meet!

None the less sweeter for the time they take,

Growing in the darkness at times must ache!

With patience, love, and a little light

~

They bloom into Passion flowers out of sight.

So pretty they make you close your eyes and blink,

To glance again at the nature so colorful and distinct!

Seasons of growth through the dirt in the making,

Good for the soul straight from Creator for the taking.

Colorful designs exuding like no other,

Gifts given swiftly from Earth Mother

Grown with passion in their roots,

No longer potted or mistook!

Passion flower is beautiful with purple, white, yellow and green.

People, I am so weary of littering.

My 15-minute walk around the city park after work yesterday

turned into an hour of picking

up 2 bags full of trash- all of it on the shoreline where waterfowl nest,

where the otters have a den (I’ve seen them going to and from for years)

and where I saw a mink last summer.

The other shore full of trash was around the pond in the middle of the park,

where ducks, frogs and turtles live.

I see rabbits around the pond as well.

The majority of the trash was plastic,

and the 2 large plastic trash bags I filled

were also found among the trash.

Who are these pigs that just toss their trash on the ground

when there are trash cans scattered across the park?

Some of it blew there, I’m sure,

but 3 half-filled and frozen cups of coffee and half full take-out containers?

Come on people, we can do better.
