Family man, children abound.
Love for mom so deep it hurt.
Eyes and heart with her first.
Loss
Gone too soon, no longer among us.
Pain and void.
Words fail it justice.
How can one go on
without you carrying on?
Mom’s knight in shining armor’s
life extinguished by cancer.
Twenty years
a long tiresome wait.
Mom’s tears
a river it made.
Across the void to find her love.
I pray, buried deep within my loss,
my parents reunited
up above.
