In shadows cast, I stand apart,

An outsider from the very start.

Among the crowd, but not within,

Forever feeling like an alien.

I watch them laugh and share their tales,

While I navigate these unfamiliar trails.

A puzzle piece that doesn't quite fit,

In a world where conformity is it.

But in this solitude, I find my grace,

A unique perspective, my own special space.

For in being different, there's strength to glean,

A vibrant tapestry of colours unseen.

Though I may wander on a different road,

My journey's mine, a story to be told.

In every corner where I don't quite blend,

I find the strength to be an outsider, a friend.
