"Our World!"

hope actually floats, if it's not discarded plastic rubbish...

short quote from "Our World!" poem below

Poem inspired from a lost and discarded tube of plastic rubbish I retrieved while swimming in my mermaid tail during strong ocean currents and winds tossing us both about in the sea waves...

"Our World!"

We see our world through a plastic covered rim

Only to wonder how we connect,

and where do we fit in.

The waves and currents are surging through our lives

Yet our detachment makes us forget the truth,

and only believe the lies.

So, we are given a choice to choose each day

To engage, love, hope, and even play

into a better world for you and me,

Evolution can happen

when we include the we.

We is what makes a flower sprout and bloom

We is what eventually brings peace to a room

We can be a new perspective or chosen belief,

rather than what's only good

for me, me, me...

an endless cycle with no relief.

We brings promise to our doubts and fears

transforming our hearts and minds like a baby deer.

Born of innocence, trust, and a desire to live

To be part of the forest, skies, and heavens

where there's a radiant bridge.

A bridge of history

A bridge of youth

A bridge we can communicate

Full of divine truths.

May we begin our journey like a wave

through light, water, and sound

kinetic energies we pave.

It's really down to science

connecting our cells...

The soul of creation will always tell.

Which direction to turn, decide, and choose

Hatred, fear, or a sweet kindness muse.

Now evolution can happen

when we include the we...

'We' brings hope that can actually float,

instead of a discarded piece of plastic rubbish...

that our world can no longer cope!

Special Note:

To discard: when one is unable to follow suit. to get rid of someone or something, as if it was no longer useful or even desirable.

How a large portion of humanity is treating plastic going into our oceans... fishing lines and netting, balloons, intertubes, wrappers, baggies, cups, straws, and one of the #1 beach trash in the world - cigarette butts, which contain microplastics and other toxins. This intertube drifting out in the waves is #plastic that would eventually get tangled up around a #sea #turtle #shark #dolphin #whale or other #marine animal.

Let us be kind in our choices, way beyond the ocean line, which can be soo darn magical and divine!
