Of the Spider Gods

My dearest friend,

I write to you,

Of a tale of wonder, that's oh so true!

Of a spider, who spins the world's life,

In a web of beauty, free of strife.

For in this world, so full of change,

There are creatures, that seem so strange.

Like spiders, who spin their silken thread,

And weave a web, that's free of dread.

Our spider, she spins her web so fine,

And weaves a tapestry, that's oh so divine!

She captures dewdrops, in her web,

And makes a world, that's free of dread.

She spins the story, of our world,

In threads of beauty, that are unfurled.

She weaves the tale, of life and death,

And shows us all, what's truly best.

And though her web, may seem so small...

It holds the world, and holds us all,

For in her thread, we see the truth.

Of love and beauty, that's so uncouth.

So let us praise, this spider so fine,

And thank her for, her silken line,

For in her web, we see the light...

And know that everything, will be alright.

Sincerely,

The Brown Recluse
