The melody of our song
Keeps on coming back but
The reality is, I can’t sing along.
Because it hurts so much
When I listen to your voice.
It used to make me smile
And paints a blush on my face.
And everytime it is played
My heart’s beat go fast.
Just like what it was in the past.
Even if the song fades,
Forever I will cherish it’s colorful shades
The words will remain meaningful to me.
Although we can’t what we used to be.

It could be more gradual like the slow adjustment of the diaphragm on a microscope, the turn of a planet on its axis, the growing light as you approach the end of a tunnel. A flicker in the dark, a steady glow in the distance, a flash in the night sky.
