Love Tug 'o War

Hopes and dreams

I hear your screams

Beauty and peace

Tearing you apart piece by piece

True love's grace

Tears upon your face

Moments in heaven stolen

Forever with a heart that’s broken

Gasps of sweet release

The waves never cease

Flutters of butterflies

Ignoring all lies

Waves of heat

Treated like prime meat

Little caring

All baring

All over kissing

Unexpectedly missing

Star-crossed

Heart lost

You’ve become mush

All it takes is one push

One word to make you blush

Instead you’re heart crushed

For it’s never spoken

And you’re treated as a token

About the Creator

Mother Combs

Come near, sit a spell, and listen to tales of old as I sit and rock by my fire. I'll serve you some cocoa and cookies as I tell you of the time long gone by when your Greats-greats once lived.
