On the other side of goodbye

An inverse Hymn

One day,

this earth

will be a distant memory,

if a memory at all,

Where goodbye

Meets hello

an Angelic being,

Transferring to

His new body

Where sorrow can’t consume

no more

And fear is gone

Suffering,

You can taste and feel it,

A hymn of completion.

Alive,

Like a moving object.

Holding dear your beloved

The one who is suffering,

Angelic voices meet

for death will be so sweet

Like the upward rise,

strike of a chord

on a violin

sounding sharp,

the deep bounce

when fingers pull back

the sound of the harp

Where peace surrounds

And love abounds.

High up in the clouds.

Only because a King gave up his crown.

I like the gentle yet stirring messages in this one, and the ruminations on suffering. “High up in the clouds. Only because a King gave up his crown.” is my favourite bit. Nice😊

  • Beautifully composed no matter which direction you read it & wonderful expression of your faith, Natasha.

  • This flowed to well both forwards and backwards! Gotta agree with Invisi, I loved the bottom to top more!

  • Loved this beautiful piece. It read so well. My favorite was from the bottom up
