On storming with self-love in July

My hope for July

By Hridya SharmaPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

On storming with self-love in July

Stuttering in the essence of my stance of who I yearn to be,

The remnants of desires pierce the soul in a demeanour that abdicated the glee

--

I hold myself in the beauty of the light that the closed doors cannot find,

Alas! The radiance that my soul embodies, loses its way in the chaos of the mind.

--

The existence of humanness draws its parallel with the trials that ignite the fire within thee,

Cascading in the storms, stumbling over the roadblocks, I find my anchorous land in the depths of me.

--

If I may, I hope you stride your path in the elixir of the magnanimous glance of your might,

My hope for us in July takes its deep breaths in the goodness of faith,

I pray that you win all the unsaid battles that you silently fight.
