Oh fake friend

A tale of fake friendships

In the land of tea and rain, where manners reign,

Lies a tale of friendship, fleeting and feigned.

With smiles as bright as the sun's gentle gleam,

Yet hearts as cold as the moon's icy beam.

Oh, fake friends, with their honeyed words so sweet,

But beneath their masks, lies deceit.

They whisper secrets with forked tongues,

While plotting mischief, their plans unsung.

They'll clink their glasses and laugh with glee,

But behind your back, they'll sow seeds of jealousy.

They'll pat your back with a hand of steel,

But when you're not looking, they'll twist the deal.

Beware, dear friend, of those who pretend,

For their loyalty is but a means to an end.

In the halls of friendship, tread with care,

Lest you fall prey to the snares they ensnare.

But fear not, for amidst the thorns and the snare,

True friends, like diamonds, are precious and rare.

With hearts of gold and steadfast souls,

They'll stand by your side, through the highs and the lows.

So cherish those who are true and sincere,

For their friendship is a treasure, oh so dear.

And let the fake friends fade into the night,

For in the end, it's the true ones who shine bright.
