have to risk the fact that without me you might die

anxiety, i think we are ready for a permanent break
letting you get close to me was my biggest mistake
i hope you move faraway for everyones sake

ptsd, we are now set to split
i do not want anymore conflict
so pack your bags quick and quit

you must all now leave
your absence i will not grieve
a huge weight off of my shoulders i will be relieved

i need a life of relaxation
which is why i called for this separation

Confessions of an Empath
The birds are chirping, and the sun is shining in a cloudless July sky. The vibrancy promises a beautiful day, but the cooing of the Mourning Dove perched on the powerlines seems to be more fitting than the lively songs of the robin flitting through the trees. The melancholic calls of the dove cloak the world in a sadness that hangs like tattered drapes.
