Off-Kilter Poetry 4

Surrounded by the mountains

Managing stress is the youth fountain

Water is the youth fountain

Eating to live is the youth fountain

Steady counting blessings, and learning from l's and lessons,

Gotta keep pushing, no button pressing, but sometimes you gotta endure dust off the chest' n keep it moving

Stars still gonna shine, beans still gonna grind in the morning

Feelings are valid but they don't justify behaviors and actions

Learning new things everyday, only tapped into a fraction of the inner willpower

Now only burn sour when I'm the opposite of dour, and not every hour on the hour.

Adversity is a mean mother of a climb, better make use of every step and time

Surrounded by them mountains

Another 24 to breathe no time for pouting
