Oceangate

death

By Mohammad Sufyan ButtPublished 12 months ago 1 min read

In the depths of despair, a tragedy untold,

A tale of sorrow, a story so cold.

On the 18th of June, a day etched in tears,

The Oceangate passengers, lost in their fears.

They embarked on a journey, filled with hope,

Dreams of adventure, an ocean's vast scope.

But fate had its plans, as the waves crashed in,

A tempest of sorrow, where lives would begin to thin.

The Oceangate sailed, with its cargo of souls,

Passengers young and old, with dreams and goals.

But the ocean, relentless, its fury unleashed,

Claiming lives without mercy, hearts forever breached.

The waves rose like giants, fierce and unkind,

Swallowing dreams, leaving despair behind.

The ship, once majestic, now tossed and torn,

As darkness engulfed, their fate was forlorn.

Families left waiting, their hearts filled with dread,

Praying for miracles, but all hope seemed dead.

Rescue teams braved the waters, searching in vain,

For the lost souls, their lives forever stained.

Each name on the list, a story cut short,

Hopes and aspirations, no longer sought.

The Oceangate tragedy, a wound so deep,

Aching hearts in mourning, where grief does seep.

Oh, the pain of those left behind,

The void that's left, so hard to find.

The memories linger, like whispers in the air,

Of loved ones gone, a burden to bear.

May their souls find solace in eternal peace,

May their loved ones find comfort, their anguish to cease.

Though the Oceangate passengers are gone from our sight,

Their spirits endure, shining through the night.

In the vastness of the ocean, where sorrows reside,

We mourn their loss, as the waves gently glide.

For the Oceangate passengers, we weep and mourn,

Their lives extinguished, but their spirits forever born.
