Utter Nonsense

By Mother CombsPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

Hickory dickory dock, I have a hole in my sock.

Jack and Jill went up the hill, only to take a spill.

Peter, Peter, pumpkin eater, Mother Goose drives a two-seater.

Jack Sprat jumped over a candlestick and landed with a splat.

Humpty Dumpty sat along the top of a wall, only to fall.

The old woman knew what to do, she was just too lazy to try to.

Little Miss Muffet lied okay, she did not want to eat her curds and whey.

The spider did not care that she ran away since he was after the flies anyway.

The cow was too fat to jump the moon, or is that statement too soon?

The dish kidnapped the spoon as soon as it went into a swoon.

A woodchuck could chuck as much wood as three little pigs could.

The goose was caught by Mrs. Sprat, who then ate all including the fat.

Blind mice run everywhere along invisible trails, but the butcher's wife does not cut off their tails.

Little Bo Peep lost her sheep, but only a little boy weeps.

Three little pigs ate the goose's corn, Little Boy Blue was too distracted to blow his horn.

Hey, diddle, diddle, Mother Goose has a riddle.

There was no big bad wolf, but a weird man named Wolfe.

There was no pie for Horner, and no street lights on the corner.

Jack was never nimble and the dog laughing was just a symbol.

Mother Goose wrote nonsense, but imagine if she wrote with no sense.

Imagine the utter nonsense that she would have created, chances are no kid would have related.

Therefore the stories would have never been passed down, and definitely never have become so renown.
