Numb

Living, but not alive

I am numb to the world around me. I am numb to the people who love me. I am numb to those who need me. I am numb as I walk down the street. I am numb to what I see. I am numb to the beauty surrounding me. I am numb to the pain that's so clear. I am numb to the thoughts in my head. I am numb to everything as I lay in my bed. I am numb to the needs of my body. I am numb to the needs of my mind. I am numb to the person that I used to be.
