Take my life instead

I'd give you everything

Take some good with some bad

Even though I'm wearing the same hat that you saw me in last

It doesn't mean anything

If I can't hold you,

and I'm set on that

Do I need to tap into your mentality,

and push myself away

Your type of normality

Will always make me stay

We watched "Say Anything"

In the warmth of your bed

Even though I'm wanting you there is so much doubt in my head

It doesn't mean anything

If I can't hold you

Take my life instead

Do I need to tap into your mentality,

and push myself away

Your type of normality

Will always make me stay
