The beginning was clear

Adoration and praise when I was near

You loved me, you loved me

Consistent like seasons of the year

...

The middle remained steady

You enabled me, they hated me

You loved me, you loved me

I was made into this, you see

...

In the end I was destroyed

Your conditional gift like the horse left at Troy

Who loves me? Who loves me?

I'm nobody's boy.
