Equity Brings Heroes, Not Zeroes
No More Zeroes, Now We All Have Worth
Only Heroes, Now None Will Have To Work
No More Gyros, Unless They Happen To Be Vegan
No More Tears So, Equity Amongst Man And Animal
The Races Equal, The Sexes Equal
Every Identity Placed Upon A Pedestal Of Gold
How Bold To Banish The Kabold
But The Old Need Heaven Sent Nourishment
And I've Only Got So Much To Spare So I Vent
We've All Got A Jam We Blast When In A Jam
We All Are Equal In That Respect
Which Is Why We Are All Worthy Of Respect
Sasquatch Will Watch Those Who Watch Him
But Can He Swim>

Reaching Out
I promise her. I'd do anything for her. She's my mom. Even as Lanie and Deanna are flying home, Mom is scrappy fighting dying. She lays too still in that too-big bed with all the toasty white hospital blankets, in the south tower, at the broad end of a long slow-turning corner that delivers me again to her private room with the view she can't see through, with the beeping that tells us nothing new, and all these ice chips she can't swallow, and a flood of well-intentioned nurses who cannot do a damned thing all the same.
