Night’s Time

A place in the dark, a seat with the stars

Releasing emotions and soothing her scars

That twinkle in the dark sending reassurance her way

Just a glimmer of hope she grabbed to close her eyes and pray

She enjoys the night and the beauty while gazing up there

Endulging in perfect serenity until the sun beams it’s glare

As the moonlight shines true, allowing faith to renew

Building high hopes for a better day with the Sun

Taking the lead, Night has the victory won

As darkness starts to fall

For most to bed they crawl

For her, night hits different and she can’t waste it on sleep

Releasing all her lucid fears as secrets for only the moon to keep.
