For a while I didn’t know where my heart stood

With you I was hung up on you

I didn’t ever wanna lose that feeling

I tried to hold on to it

With the memories of you

But slowly i could see that you were changing

I tried my best to ignore that

But once I saw u again

It was confirmed that you had changed

With the distance we have between us I wasn’t gonna let it change my opinion on you

Because when your not near someone all the time it doesn’t matter if you’ve changed or not

But there was one thing that did matter with you changing

It meant that I had to let go of the old

You and the memories

And seeing you again confirmed that

And now

I can’t see the old you anymore

I only see the new
