Never Wish A Day Away

You only have so much time, in memory of a friend.

Never wish a day away

Never miss a moment

You never know how long you have

To be alive and your health in hand

We take for granted the time we have

We wish away the bad times

Not enough for the good

Enjoy each day, no matter what

You never know if it is your last

Take a break and thank God

For your life given every day

Lessons on how fast it can be taken away

So, live every day, every second

Love all those around you

Each day is brand new

Live to the fullest

Death will come to all of us

But appreciate the time you have

A new opportunity every morning

See the goodness all around

Each moment a memory to be made

To never wish it away

Sometimes we take things for granted. Your poem was a reminder to not do that.
