Falling in and out of it

It was over from the start

Annoying as ever in your own way

Trying for the attention phase but still awkward

Even little fights might come out in the battle

Slowly you get under my skin

Turning face and changing minds

It only takes so much time

To look at you in a certain way

All those previous things have changed

I see your intentions as you pursue

Getting closer in the opposite direction

The look you give is pure intention

All I can do is act with perception

The closer you are the more interesting it becomes

To fall in love is such a strange devotion

Enamored in feeling and emotions

This was so well done! You nailed it! It read very well from top to bottom and in reverse!

  • Excellent writing. You did a great job constructing this inverse poem so that it makes sense from start to finish or finish to start.
