Do you wonder like you made me do?

Do you ponder all you put me through?

Am I cursed to weather the storm,

Sardonic smiles

The vacant norm?

Taking flight with broken wings

Isn't as easy as it seems.

I'm aching now for you to see.

But you never will.

Never will.

.

But I'll see the light of day.

.

Did you drown in stormy seas

To wish their souls, the iniquitous, free?

Or did you try to silence and scorn

All that's broken in you,

Praying in vain to harken in

New light, and new life?

I'm begging now, awaken and see.

Spare the lies to let in the new

And true.

.

With each hand's pass

By Grandfather time,

Another moment inches by.

Catharsis should come in its due time.

Didn't ask for perpetual wounds,

Necrosis colorful, all in bloom.

Why can't it let me go?

.

Walk in reverse to never see,

Do, touch, or lay eyes on you.

Broken wings, they ache to fly.

Rattling the cage, avert your eyes.

One more shot to save this life...

I see the light of day.
