Nature's Glow

Be still walking into nature's glow

Colors mix and blur as a painter blends together a masterpiece

Seasons change and pictures fade but what remains

Is the everlasting peace and fullness of nature

Be still walking into nature's glow

For bitterness and cold can turn into warmth and content

Greens fade to reds, yellows, and oranges

Colors of fall freeze and turn into browns and fall to the ground

Mixing back into the Earth only to return in the Spring

Blankets of pearly white snow cover the Earth

Untouched, pillow like the snowflakes fall healing the Earth

Protecting it for the winter as does a mother shielding her child

Be still walking into nature's glow

For Earth replenishes life

Brings new joys and hope everyday

It is our turn to repay its favors

Be still walking into nature's glow

For we are the guests in nature's home

As each year passes, we praise the Earth and its gifts

Now we must heal, protect, and save it

For we need Earth to survive

But does Earth truly need us?

So again I warn

Be still walking into nature's glow

For one day nature's glow will be no more and we will walk into eternal emptiness

THE END.
