Our planet, once pristine and pure,

Is now under threat, that's for sure.

We've poisoned the air, water, and soil,

As if the earth was our personal spoil.

We cut down trees without a care,

And leave behind a barren lair.

We dig up the earth to extract its treasure,

With no thought of the long-term measure.

Climate change is here to stay,

As we continue to have our way.

The ice caps melt, and the sea levels rise,

As we ignore the planet's desperate cries.

The oceans choke on plastic waste,

As we indulge in our disposable taste.

The coral reefs die a silent death,

And we watch as the natural world takes its last breath.

The animals that roam the earth,

Are now facing an uncertain birth.

As their habitats disappear,

We push them to the brink of fear.

But there's still hope if we act fast,

And change our ways before we're past.

We must reduce our carbon footprint,

And rethink our ways of living to make a dent.

Our earth is our only home,

And we must protect it before it's gone.

Let's heal the planet, before it's too late,

And ensure that our future is not up for debate.
