My Son Cut the Cake Without Wearing a Shirt
My son's second birthday is unforgettable
It was Yousuf's second birthday, oh so true,
Family gathered 'round, excitement grew.
Balloons filled the lounge, a festive sight,
Yousuf, the birthday boy, full of delight.
"What gift do you want?" Abraham inquired,
Yousuf's simple wish was soon inspired.
"A ball," he said with a joyful shout,
Off to the market, we set out.
But alas, no ball seemed to please,
Yousuf's requests brought us to our knees.
With many at home, he wanted new,
Toy shops lacked balls, what could we do?
Time flew by, preparations a mess,
No unique ball, added to the stress.
Promised to return, we left with a frown,
Yousuf's happiness, our only crown.
Tired and upset, he fell fast asleep,
Dreaming of a ball, his wish to keep.
Back home, cake awaited, celebrations near,
But Yousuf, no shirt, just his birthday cheer.
Cutting the cake without a care,
Shirtless birthday boy, a sight so rare.
Yousuf's 2nd birthday, quite a tale,
Memories we cherish, laughter prevail.
Oh, the joys and twists life brings,
Yousuf's birthday, with ballless wings.
A rhyme for the ages, a tale to be told,
Of a birthday adventure, oh so bold!
