My shade is
Multidimensional
A shimmer of green
A dash of brown
A cast of light
Different pigments
Fighting for a chance to shine
Through day and night
Depending on the angle
Lighting and shadow above
My colors change
I toil with inspiration to allow
My inner colors to shine
A little foundation to smooth
With liquid blue
Below the eye
A shadow of gray
Ready to face the day
A pop of blush
To say
I am sun kissed
I am blessed
I don't know what others see
All I see is beauty
My skin does not define me
My skin is me.
