Either way you look at it, I may win or lose.
This is simply my path.
Will I be losing myself or finding myself?
As I throw myself into my work
I am hoping, praying for a better future...
Never knowing if it will be good enough
But if I don't try something, anything
All I will ever be is nothing
The voices whisper telling me that I am losing,
Not quite enough to be independent but
without trying, I will have already failed.
So here I am, not good enough
But that I am, just the way I should be, simply trying.
