Oh little one, with hair as black as night
Your tresses soft, like feathers in flight
Your eyes so bright, reflecting the stars
A little bundle of joy, from near or afar.
You giggle and coo, a symphony so sweet
Bringing happiness, to all those you meet
With tiny fingers, and tiny feet
You dance and prance, oh so fleet.
In your dreams, you soar with dragons fair
Riding on their back, without a care
Through fields of flowers, and valleys green
A world of wonder, a fairy-tale dream.
Oh little prince, with a heart full of glee
May your life be filled with magic and fantasy
A world of adventure, and endless delight
With love and laughter, shining so bright.
So here's to you, dear little one
May your journey be filled with joy and fun

When the Robots Took My Job
This is for RM Stockton's Write Club prompt for the month of April: AI Please allow me to vent. For "college," I went to a scam school that is now closed. We were promised internships that were never spoken of again after admissions, and we were promised help finding jobs. The first time I went to the career counselor's office, she was completely frazzled. She had no idea what to do with us, the film majors. The second time I visited her office, I let her know that I'd found myself a job, and she was visibly relieved.
