My Love

A Poem

If I find you,

If you are on your knees,

I will kneel with you

Fight on,

Because your fight today will help tomorrow,

For my love, you are strong!

Turn to me,

And I’ll show you where the light is,

Gathering sticks and stones for the fire;

We will sit under this starry sky

My love;

It’s in the air;

Breathe it in and feel it rushing to undo the ties of terror that strike your mind

Feel my love,

Feel it running through my hands as I hold yours tight

In the rain,

Rinsing away your pain,

Feel the thunder;

I’m screaming for you;

I’m there

Beside the fire,

I am there, as a body of love,

Relax into me -

My love.
