my general state of being is either
a persistent melancholy
or unbridled enthusiasm
the first lesson strangers taught me
was how different I am
it surprised me to learn that was bad
I am often asked how I stay so calm
it always makes me laugh
I am too afraid to express my inner turmoil
it's just easier to be quiet
I care so deeply
and love life so much
that I hate the reality
we have chained ourselves to
our purpose seems obvious to me
find what makes you happy
and never let it go
even better
make sure the people around you
get to be happy too
