auntie mars

I have four women in me

A taurus, stubborn

Words sharp, heart

Warm and soft

Yet is shielded by walls

She built her boundaries as protection

Yet lacks reflection

Some of her bricks are outdated

And her life is exactly how she made it

So why does she sometimes feel like she hates it?

The way it, altered and reconfigured her connection to her roots

She sometimes forgets who she was, only to shine in what she is.

auntie venus

On the other side of venus, in love, in romance

I absorbed her venusian power, her love of arts, music and dance

She resemble the beauty and grace of the stubborn taurus

However, she maneuvered the power of the woman

The power of the goddess, queen

Yet she does not know what no means

Spoiled, they called her

Yet she required an environment of nurture

Sensitive, absorptive, gentle

A physical woman, a real down to earth girl

She sang as sweetly as a hummingbird

And she heard songs in her sleep

Lulling herself and her family into a dream

This fluttering butterfly was free,

A see you next lifetime

She made hearts skip a beat

Yet her downside, her defeat

Was loving luxury over the ability, the talent

to compete

Where was her belief?

auntie merc

Quick witted, never miss it

This girl skipped rocks over the world

A natural mathematician

She understands how systems work

Morally sound, the judge

The court, the woman good at every sport

Linear, direct

Yet lacking the standard to know what to expect

Fixing the fouls of those fools

Missing an opportunity to learn her tools

Everything there, but yearning here

She masked her desire with her ability

To acquire material

Born in the path of success

She sometimes bought more

To feel less

How could they forget her?

Did she cause this to happen by being too available

Yet never present?

mother earth

Mama, mother, life, earth

Grower, healer, yet lacking worth

I feel so much because of you

I am so much because of you

You were blind to the kind of power you possessed

Grow gardens from your fingertips

And nourish bodies from your hips

You connect to all that you encounter

And counter balance emulsified energies

Into flows of love and life

You gave me life and i forever thank you

You gave me strife and i can't stand you

I don't understand you, i pray you find clarity

Our resemblance is starting to scare me

I seen you feel pain deep within

And still rise to occasion

Your spirit is a phoenix

Brushing her wings through the ash

Grayed, covered, yet glimpses of glitter

In her eyes

I see why you cried

To make sure that you were still alive.

little rock

The mirror presents to me a new sight

it’s like

Overnight

I lost what i thought was me

Only to emerge, fluttering, buttery

Soaring into the sky of life

Soft, beautiful, candy for the sight

Deep blues and warmth of a summer night

This woman, she sprung from which she fell

To re enter in the winter of life

I couldn't tell who she was, but i loved her life

As i welcomed her ascension,

I witnessed the fruits of her garden

The seeds, i correct

You could imagine the future of the fruits

Palatable, you could already taste the love from her labor

She is the beginning

The living manifestation of all of these women

Her four mothers

Yet no one ever asked me who I wanted to be?
