I Still Love You, Anyway.

You make a mess;

Leave dirty cups in the sink,

Throw your trash on the floor,

Leave your washing by the door.

You leave;

Dirty socks under the bed,

Your tools all over the lounge,

Dirty foot prints on the carpet.

But,

Get this;

I'm a woman,

I make a mess too,

I leave my makeup all over the loo,

So;

Go ahead and make a mess,

We're only human,

What's the point in stress?

Next time,

You leave stuff everywhere,

I won't complain,

I won't shout,

Everybody does it;

I have no doubt.

We can't tidy up all of the time,

Lived in is proud,

So let's keep it loud.

One day we'll pass,

And mess won't matter,

Don't waste the day;

I still love you,

Anyway.
