nothing feels real
but my head has never been more empty
every show feels like a theatrical production just for me
every scene is a metaphor
that represents humanity's desperation
to be loved
we all just want someone to care about us
but in real life, happy endings don't happen
so we immerse ourselves in the land of make-believe
where true love is an option
what if our lives could be poetry
but we refuse to be happy
fiction is so weird
because even that must take place
within the bounds of real people interacting
are they mocking us
or honoring us
is this how normal people feel
just quiet and content
