Mustard Seed

Small yet mighty

By Karyn SavagePublished 4 years ago • Updated 4 years ago • 1 min read

Immeasurable to conceptualise

Yet simultaneously small.

Nothing carries a greater weight,

A feather would be as light.

In its strength and power,

It can raise mountains,

Bend nations,

Turn tides.

While in its gentleness

It can heal,

Caress,

Comfort.

It is the substance of kingdoms,

It is for the brave.

For the lonely and lost

A salvation, a haven.

It can be fleeting,

Fading as fast as it roared,

Like a candle burning out in the night.

Yet a small puff of wind

Can fan it to flame.

A forrest fire, fierce, unyielding.

It is eternal,

Forever,

Omnipresent.

In every heart and mind.

Small yet mighty,

One only needs

A little.

Faith.
