Mumma

I see you

I see you Mumma.

I see your joy and I feel your pain.

The you who tirelessly supports and nurtures another soul into their existence whilst balancing your own.

I see your love in those long days and nights and I feel your hardship in the doubt you cast on yourself at times.

The you who juggles the workload of keeping a household running, and the you who sometimes forgets who you are because you are taking care of others needs.

I see your endless efforts, Mumma.

The you that is trying to heal from things no one ever apologised to you for, and the you that is somehow holding it all together every single day.

I applaud you, Mumma.

The you that let go of your old self, in order to become something new and different that is still becoming.

I feel your blossoming, Mumma.

The you that takes on the burdens around you so that younger hearts around you may be at ease, and the you that keeps on going no matter how hard things may seem.

You are doing it, Mumma.

The you that holds tiny hands and arms a little bit closer when things feel tough, and the you that feels guilt for needing to step back and take a breath, just for you.

I feel your beautiful heart, Mumma.

The you that is trying so hard to pull everything together when you feel like breaking, and the you that puts on your best hat comforting that everything is ok, even if you feel like it isn’t.

You are a beacon, Mumma.

The you who is doing it all alone, or the you who is delicately distributing time between different connections and duties.

You are so strong, Mumma.

To the you who feels like your best is not good enough, and the you who is questioning your worth.

You are so important, Mumma.

To the you who stops time for the small moments, and the you who mediates to be peacekeeper, teacher and role model all in one.

To the you who feels desperate and isolated, and the you who is exhausted emotionally, physically, mentally.

I see you, Mumma.

I feel all that you do.

And I am thankful, just for you.

You are special and unique.

And if no one has told you today, I am so proud of you.

You are a connection in Creation to the Divine, and you are doing an exquisite job figuring out some challenging times in this beautiful thing called Life.

You are so appreciated, Mumma.

You are perfect and whole, just as you are in this moment.

I pray that you see yourself through the eyes of those who love you.

You are a superhero without a cape because you have something more valuable.

A heart, that beats not only for yourself, but for many.

Do you feel that, Mumma?

You are the light.

You are the love.

You are, Mumma.
