Moon, oh moon, up in the sky,

A glowing orb, a celestial sight.

With silver light, you rule the night,

A constant friend, both day and night.

You wax and wane, with grace and ease,

A symbol of life's cyclic breeze.

Your beauty shines, beyond compare,

A source of wonder, everywhere.

You've inspired tales, and songs so sweet,

A muse to artists, who can't help but compete.

You've been to space, and back again,

A mystery to man, since time began.

Oh moon, you are a sight to see,

A beacon of hope, for all to be.

Your light shines bright, for all to find,

A symbol of love, for all mankind.
