singing in, running out of rage,

in the space we take up.

it takes from us everything.

a new hobby every week.

she became a whirlwind in her own right mind.

a force to be reckoned with.

she is unpredictable.

the world's worst cheerleader.

screaming obscenities and i love you.

crying wolf in the sheep's pen.

and spitting in the winds of change.

ever amazed at what doesn't fall apart.

the reasons people have,

and why they gerrymander jagged lines around her sandbox.

a literal no-man's land where all bets are off,

but they still made them against her will.

and the answers of how or why-

they were never entertained, nor asked for.

it's just known, and the talk of the town,

that she learned about mocking the birds at a young age.

and she's been busy as a bee,

hunting to discover who the rest of us fear when we look into her eyes,

ever since.
