Minnie Mite was always busy moving around. Always doing this and that in a hurry.

Her grandfather, one day reminded her to stop and smell the beautiful roses. "I will, I don't have have time today".

Minnie Mite joined more groups, collectives and clubs. Finding work needing to be done everywhere.

She was small, but mighty. She worked so hard she required a lot of energy.

She was always meeting others, helping with tasks and rushing to the next thing on her list.

These acquaintances were always friendly.

One day Minnie Mite got sick. She had so many appointments and commitments she grew weary. So tired.

She turned to many of the acquaintances for help. They smiled and listened, but were unable to help her.

Minnie Mite was exhausted, disappointed in those she always chose to help over her self and own well being.

Minnie Mite was spread to thin. She took a couple days for sick leave.

Minnie Mite woke slowly, stretching and looking out the window. She saw a rose bush with pink roses on it. Remembering what her grandfather said, she went out to smell the rose.

Minnie Mite could not believe how sweet they smelled and how beautiful they looked.

Minnie Mite felt calm, even happy.

Minnie Mite spent the morning in the sunshine drinking juice and relaxing.

Minnie Mite felt better than she had felt in a long time.

Minnie Mite decreased her activities, clubs, collectives and groups. Keeping those she could focus on with quality time and focus.

Minnie Mite also allowed herself 1 day just to herself every week. This allowed for more quality time with family. Its quality time that mattered most.

Once a day Minnie Mite made sure to stop by the rose bush outside her window and smell the rose. A sweet escape that caused a rush of gratitude.

Minnie Mites grandfather's words had been the reminder she needed. Minnie Mite never forgot to "stop and smell the roses" ever again. Not even while she was busy doing this and that.

Minnie Mite understood the importance of taking care of herself, having quality commitments, and using her time well. Most importantly to enjoy whatever she chose to do.

Minnie Mite would always find time to stop and smell the roses!
