MIAMI'S MOON

Turns out you were right
I…
Remember you said one night
Why…
Do we always find us at the wrong time?
While it rained in July
While it rained, we said goodbye
Why was leaving so easy for you
I won’t be your second choice
I won’t be your second choice
On our way to the party
I thought about
All of the ways you’ve broken my heart
It didn’t feel right, right there and then
We start to fall apart
We were always together
We were always apart
Don’t know how that could happen,
We broke our own hearts
I’m crying to ‘California Sun’,
Thinking of you
You heard my prayer and thought of me too
While staring at Miami’s moon
Wishing I was with you
