Carrying with
It the power
To both celebrate
And mourn
That which was.
Memory Carries
With it
The heart
And hope
That tomorrow
Grief will be
Carried
A little less
Painfully.
Memory breathes
New life into memories
That for
A time
May have felt
Breathless.
Memory Carries
With it both
Beauty and pain
As we remember
That which was.
