the bewitching witness throes from the transfixed devoted?

or little bit of both- rampant imagination beyond control,

haunting by what goes around and comes back?

predetermined advances returned for the taking,

any moment may be reasonably doubted, mistaken

do you please? or forceful compliance begged in relations?

it's not an advantage i seek,

not one, two, or three steps above the next-

to seem better than we are, unadmitted- silence regret

as esteem substituted- moot confidence for the interactive audience.

tell me who i am before i can act.

do you feel me- do you see what i'm saying,

or do you hear the feelings between the unkempt faces i masquerade?
