i've been looking for him

Libra 29-30° - Sabian Symbol 210 "Three mounds of knowledge on a philosopher's head"

i've been looking for Matt Bliss,

inside my own head.

nobody knows who he is

or where to find him.

i need to recover the confidence;

to be someone to fight,

for someone else;

to be of service;

to give the help i can;

then, to accept what happens next.

for the first time,

i saw the soul of the forest

for all the trees

he cried when we fell asleep that night.

his tears cleansed me.

i had to hear it from myself -

every real thing that can't be touched:

like dreams forming

of the horizon, eventually;

coming or going;

mountains of lavender and strawberries;

dancing in summer rain -

perfect for memories.

the only 'better then'

is always ahead of us.

i still wish for it

when i see a shooting star

because the older i get

feels less like growing up.

i think that's the secret

Matt Bliss told me

when i was fifteen.

i wonder if he knows now, still,

am i special,

or is there a god to believe in?

i bet he's got the answers.

it was better

when he always did.

i know better than to meet my heroes,

but i still hope

maybe i will see Matt Bliss again.

and until i do, i wonder,

what would Matt Bliss do?
