March

April and May

March

Comes in like a lion

Roaring

Blowing hard enough

To take limbs down

With the wind that will

Cut right through you

Taking your breath away

If you are not prepared

Bringing with it tornadoes

That’ll take a roof off of a house

But it goes out like a lamb

Bringing the rains of April

That feeds the flowers of May

Whoaaa, March seems very intense! Loved your poem!

  • I think we got the lion already yesterday around here. The beginning of March looks like it will be fairly mild. (Doggone it anyway! I enjoy some good weather!)

March is my favourite month! But it does cause a bit of chaos. Another well written poem.
