Underneath the Moon's Veil, Whispers in the Night

When the sun sets,

And the moon's full glare awakes,

The magical hour has come.

When things beyond man occur,

And the magical beings appear.

A shoe once spoilt,

Is suddenly repaired.

At dawn's break, one sees it,

In a newly state, one must know,

The elves had visited last night.

A toy once lost,

Is suddenly found,

By your windowsill, in the garden,

Or even at your doorstep.

A fairy must've brought it, for no toy can walk.

A tricky play,

On you or anyone,

With a link to one,

A sprite must be near.

Although sometimes dangerous tricks, is a wonderful creature still.

All these creatures,

And so many more,

Are the magic that occur,

While we sleep,

Unknown to our world.

We never see them,

'Cause at dawn's break,

They know too well to hide,

For fear of being found.

But a few still see, the lucky ones that is.
