The dusty roads,
Where the whirlwind travels,
And not a single soul resides.
With not a sound but the voice of solitude,
By Uphill Mind3 months ago in Poets
The quarrel between the mighty and feeble,
The virtuous and wicked,
The pure and tainted,
The seen and unseen,
The serendipitous and unintended,
No story to fall on,
No reason to fight,
But still it never ends.
Reasons for war never make sense,
And reasons for peace never heard,
The World’s beautiful,
The world’s magical,
But yet practical.
The world revolves,
But little evolves.
A tale is told,
Of a mystical place,
Which shows one in a hundred moon years.
A place where the sun and moon are one,
A precious place it is,
A traveler embarks on a boundless road,
Guided by destiny's mysterious code.
An ever-flowing river they must swim,
Yet the journey's end seems ever-dim.
In the realm of hearts, where treasures reside,
There lies a gem with a majestic stride.
A heart of gold, unyielding and bold,
Once a quiet dove,
Living in the world
Without actually living to all.
Now a staring eagle,
Living the world to its fullest.
Come to the banquet,
One and all,
On this merry day,
I say to all,
Let laughter and glee
Be the order of the day,
As time passes,
People drift apart.
An endless sea of people,
Each with different to impact.
Holding on's a struggle,
Which is easy,
With four walls,
And no door,
But a slight window for air,
No bigger than a peephole.
No one, no noise,
The morning sun, or the cool night moon?
A soaring peacock, majestic as ever,
Or the brave swan?
The endless sea of blue, or the blanket of stars?
