Heartbeat

Slow and even

Conversation sparks the flames of interest

Calmly engaging in enticing banter- The trap is set

Each planning to return with the kill

Pace Quickens

As two beings speak in measures of charisma

Both parties equally intrigued

Dancing around an all too familiar subject

Heightened by excitement

The intoxication of an adrenaline rush

Brought on by lust and desire

Strangers depart for a more secluded surrounding

Faster, faster

Alone at last

The cure for an insatiable thirst

Ripping, tearing into each other with savagery unbeknownst to the wildest creature

Alarmingly rapid

Reaching the peak of the metaphorical mountain

Incapable of thought- Two becomes one under the sinful glow of the deadly moonlight

Floating on a blissful cloud of content and satisfaction

Return to originality

Calming sounds of uneven breath

Drifted apart and asleep

‘til regret wakes on the wings of the morning
