have you ever been touched?

lush

i could kiss your eyes

or touch your lip

slide my fingers

down your cheek

as blush

rubs off

on the tips

and you are so red

as candles flicker around us

a body flustered

a body

lush

you hold out your hand

you’ve never been

touched

candy

stop saying his name

it’ll glaze your teeth

with candy

and rot the very thing

that allows you

to speak

lick your lips, picture static

put him in your back pocket

dead in the attic

lick your lips

feel the warmth

feel alive

touch yourself

think

breathe

live

live without him

wear red

diamonds

blush

let candy rush

down your knees

make him wait

as you walk

away

footsteps were always

more penetrating

in heels

stop saying his name

kick your lips

make him say yours
