Embracing every curve and line Knowing our worth, divine and fine Self-love nourishes the soul Filling us up, making us whole
With self-love comes confidence A beacon of light, a shining presence Insecurities no longer bind As self-love frees the mind
No longer seeking validation Or fearing others' judgment and damnation For with self-love, we are enough A realization, both powerful and tough
So love thyself, with every fiber Let self-love be your constant driver For a life of love and happiness Starts with loving thyself, no less.

Perfect Little Pirate
The rough, sodden rope bit into her fingers as she swung over the roiling water far below. Reaching out with the toe of her boot, she managed to catch hold of the rain-soaked railing of the ship- and promptly slipped. Throwing herself forward, she landed hard on the deck, slamming her elbows against the wood planks. The sharp yelp of pain quickly bubbled into a laugh, and she rolled onto her back, laughing up at the gray sky as a torrent of rain washed away the soot covering her skin.
